LAND SURVEYING IN EVERETT

Land Surveying in Everett, Marysville, Mukilteo, Edmonds, Lynnwood, greater Snohomish, North King, South Skagit Counties and Camano Island

As a fully licensed and insured company, our surveyors are perhaps the most experienced in Washington. Each Project Surveyor has more than 20 years’ experience and have been leaders in Washington’s Survey Associations and understand the geography of this region like the back of their hands! In many instances, we already have surveyed areas and have data in-house that can simplify your survey project, saving you time and money.

Although the basics of what land surveying is seem very simple, the scope of what is actually done is very broad and diverse. Land surveyors use their skills in mathematics, physics and cartography to complete their very precise work.

Typically our service area covers the Cascade Range to the coast of Washington, the Bellingham area to Olympia. We have performed surveys for water districts, wastewater treatment plants, roads, municipalities, single-family homes to high rises, pits and quarries, watersheds, dams, rivers, commercial, industrial and many other types of projects.

We have strong expertise and are proficient with state of the art survey equipment including Global Positioning System (GPS), Leica robotic total stations, and AutoCAD software up to 2019, including AutoDesk Civil 3D.

Residential developments, whether they are single-family homes, development plats, rural clusters, condominiums, apartments or mixed use projects in rural to downtown urban areas, are often complex ventures. There are a variety of considerations when selecting a site including environmental rules, a host of regulatory issues and zoning challenges that can add significant cost to projects if you are not aware of current laws and best practices.

We are skilled at practices from simple boundary line surveys to helping developers and homeowners understand site limitations and constraints, environment regulations, local laws and permitting practices. We can help you with all aspects of developing a site, from site selection through construction drawings and assistance in selecting a qualified contractor.

We can show you the best way to lay out your site to maximizing the open area, take advantage of views or privacy, and help lower the expense of bringing water, sewer/septic and other utilities onto the property. WESI has provided services on many projects to help resolve property line disputes, adjustments, provide elevation certificates and ELOMA’s, and provide coordination to resolve neighboring conflicts.
